I'm Scott, 26 years old, full time student, part time employee at a game store. I'm currently in school to get my bachelors in Business with a focus on Accounting, though I've recently decided to switch that up and go full on Marketing with some Accounting thrown in for good measure. I hope to find a job working for an MMORPG developer in their marketing department once I finally graduate in 2012. My dream job is working in marketing for Paragon Studios or NCSoft. I know, the marketing department for MMOs is the most hated department out there, because they control the flow of information on upcoming updates and expansions. Honestly, I don't have a problem being hated if that's the reason.
I've been a gamer for the majority of my life, I got my first NES when I was 5 and things went from there. My choice in games has changed and evolved over the years. I used to be huge into FPS, my Gamertag(FragMePlz) was originally a taunt to the Halo community on the old XBox Live. I stopped playing console games in general for a long time because they offered little challenge or were just too short. That's where MMOs came in. I'm currently playing City of Heroes and Everquest 2. But you can't name an MMO that I haven't either beta tested extensively or played after launch for at least six months. Hell, I even have a lifetime subscription to Champions Online, I would have one to Star Trek Online, but I was completely broke when they finally decided to offer one, so I missed out.
I've recently gotten back into console gaming with the releases of Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Red Dead Redemption. Those three games rekindled my love of console gaming enough to take interest in this project when the idea came up. I'm really looking forward to all of the awesome, and not so awesome, games we have approaching.
